Macro Master Class

downunderpix proudly presents underwater photography and videography master classes at Edithburgh, one of Australia’s premier macro photography dive sites.

The master classes are conducted by Professional Underwater Photographer and Cinematographer, Paul Macdonald of downunderpix.

The agenda for each master class will include macro photography / videography theory sessions and dives. The theory sessions will cover the following topics specific to macro underwater photography / videography:
• Refresher on the basics
• Camera set up
• Camera Settings
• Composition
• Lighting
• Advanced Techniques

The dives will allow you to put the theory into practice under the guidance of Paul with double dives on each of the Friday and Saturday mornings. The master classes will allow you to make the next step towards improving your macro underwater photography and videography and achieving results you will be proud of.

As a prerequisite, it is expected that you will have experience using your underwater camera system with manual settings and have a basic understanding of the concepts of exposure and depth of field. Successful completion of an entry level underwater photography course would be beneficial. To help you meet the prerequisite, you can undertake the downunderpix online digital underwater photography course. A special price will be provided for master class registrants.
